BIG BOUNCE 4 LIFE – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE
We require all customers to read and agree to these Terms & Conditions before hiring our equipment. These rules ensure the safety of all users and protect our equipment from damage. A disclaimer must be signed upon delivery.
By booking with Big Bounce 4 Life, you agree to all Terms & Conditions below.
1. Safety & Care of Equipment
Children Only on Children’s Equipment

Only adults may use equipment designed specifically for adults.

All standard inflatables are for children aged under 12 years old, unless stated otherwise.
No Food, Drinks, Shoes, or Chewing Gum
-
Strictly no food, drinks, shoes, or chewing gum on or near any equipment.
-
This prevents choking hazards, stains, and unnecessary cleaning.
Cleaning Fee – £20
£20 Dirt Deposit
In higher-risk circumstances (e.g. muddy gardens, close to building work, face painting), staff may request a £20 dirt deposit.
Supervision
A responsible adult must monitor the inflatable at all times.
Prohibited Behaviours

No climbing walls
-
No sitting on the walls
-
No somersaults
-
No hanging from beams or arches
-
No bouncing on the front step (step is for entry/exit only)

No running side to side (this can cause the inflatable to tip)

No pushing, wrestling, or any rough play
No Pets
Pets are not allowed on or near inflatables.
Weather Safety

If the bouncing surface becomes wet, stop use immediately.

Keep all electrical leads and plugs dry.
-
In heavy rain, keep the inflatable blown up and do NOT cover the blower.
Health Restrictions
Anyone with back or neck problems, or anyone feeling unwell, should not use the equipment.
Inflation/Deflation
No one may use the equipment during inflation or deflation.
Space Requirements
If the Blower Stops Working
-
Remove all users immediately.
-
Check the air tube is not kinked or blocked.
-
Ensure all ties are secure around the blower tube.

Make sure nothing is covering the blower.
Electrical Safety
Only Big Bounce 4 Life extension leads and blowers may be used.
Any damage caused by unauthorised equipment will be charged at full replacement cost.
2. Soft Play & Ball Pit Rules
Ball Pit Balls

All balls must be placed back into the ball pit or ball bags before staff arrive.

If staff must gather balls from the hall, venue, garden, or surrounding area, a £30 ball collection charge will apply.

3. Delivery & Collection
ID Requirements
Two forms of ID are required:

Photo ID (driving licence, passport, etc.)

Proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, etc.)
A photo of the responsible adult may be requested at the driver’s discretion.
Children During Setup
Children and vulnerable adults must be kept away during setup and collection for safety reasons.
Payment
Access Requirements
Please ensure:

Clear access from vehicle to setup area
-
All obstacles removed (bikes, toys, trampolines, washing lines, etc.)

Grass cut and branches trimmed
-
Vehicles moved where needed
Our drivers operate on a tight schedule, with approx. 25 minutes per delivery/collection.
Unsuitable Properties
If the area is unsafe, too small, obstructed, or the inflatable does not fit:

We are not liable for damage to:
The hirer must notify staff of underground utilities before staking.
4. House Bookings – Delivery Window & Missed Delivery

Home deliveries take place between 7am and 1pm.
-
If the team attempts delivery and no one is home, the full booking fee will still be charged.

The team will move on to the next booking.
-
They may return later only if time allows — this is rare and not guaranteed.

No refunds will be issued for missed home deliveries.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present during the delivery window.
5. Venue Access Requirements (NEW)
Minimum Access Time – At Least 1 Hour
For venue bookings, customers must provide:
This time is essential to allow safe setup and pack down, and to ensure we can manage multiple deliveries smoothly.
Longer Access Windows Preferred
If you can give a longer delivery or collection window, this greatly helps us ensure:
1 hour is the minimum required, but more time is always beneficial.
6. Overnight Hire
For outdoor overnight hires:

Garden must be fully fenced and secured with a lock.

Blowers, extension leads, and accessories must be stored indoors overnight.

Inflatable must be covered with the supplied ground sheet.
Collections begin from 7am the following morning.
Any loss or damage must be paid for in full.
Our insurance does not cover theft or damage while equipment is in your possession.
We reserve the right to refuse overnight hires if we feel the equipment may be at risk.
7. Late Bookings
Same-day bookings may be possible depending on availability, but advance booking is recommended.
8. Cancellation Policy
Bookings Under £100

Cancelling 48+ hours before delivery → Full refund

Cancelling under 48 hours → 50% charge

Cancelling on the day → 100% charge
Bookings £100 or Over
-
All £100+ bookings incur a 30% cancellation fee at all times

Cancelling 1 week before event → 50% charge
-
Cancelling 48 hours before event → 100% charge
On-Day / On-Site Cancellations
A 100% charge applies if:

Equipment has been set up or partly set up

Equipment does not fit the venue
-
Ground is unsafe (dog mess, uneven ground, sharp objects)

Customer refuses the equipment for any reason
No exceptions will be made.
Weather
Once equipment is delivered and set up, no refunds will be given if:
If severe weather is forecast, please contact us before delivery.
We may cancel due to dangerous weather, staff illness, or vehicle failure.
This is rare and customers will be notified as early as possible.
9. Disclaimer
Big Bounce 4 Life is not responsible for injuries caused by misuse or failure to follow the safety rules.
Use of our equipment is entirely at the hirer’s and users’ own risk.
